Responding to the Needs of Displaced Communities

The humanitarian situation in Northern Jonglei has displaced many families and children, increasing protection risks and vulnerabilities, particularly for children.

In Duk County, CINA works to respond to these needs through integrated approaches that complement broader humanitarian services, including child protection, health, and nutrition responses delivered in coordination with partners.

By maintaining safe spaces for children within displacement settings, CINA contributes to protecting children from harm while supporting their psychosocial recovery and overall wellโ€‘being.

Commitment to Safeguarding and Accountability

CINA remains fully committed to:

  • Upholding child protection and safeguarding standards
  • Ensuring programming is accountable to affected communities
  • Protecting childrenโ€™s privacy, dignity, and safety in all communications

All activities and documentation are carried out responsibly, particularly in emergency contexts where children may attend services independently.
